To Find Hotel Platanus

Arriving Budapest by:

1. Airplane

Get the airport minibus from the airport.
After clearing customs and immigration you will find the Airport Minibus counter in the airport terminal. Give them the name of the hotel you are wanting to go to.
The cost is: one way ticket 2,100ft/person. Return 3,600ft/person. This is the same for any location with in Budapest City. You will need local currency. There are ATM's and exchange counter at the airport.
(US$1.00 = 200 ft approx) [ft = Hungarian Forint]

2. Train/Public transport

Take the Blue/No 3 metro or the No 1 tram to Nepliget. The hotel is on Konyves Kalaman Krt, opposite Nepliget Park, an easy walk from the Nepliget stop. OR get a taxi.

3. By Car

a. From M1 or M7 Take next exit after Tesco. Follow signs for Lagymanyosi Hid/M5 (route 6). Once over the river stay on same road to Nepliget, (There is an overpass at this intersection and the Volanbusz, international bus terminal is on the right).  At 2nd set of traffic lights after the underpass do a right turn into the park. Do a U turn and cross the main road. There is plenty of parking in the side streets around the hotel, which is opposite the park.

b. From Airport Follow main road into Budapest City. After coming down off "freeway" keep to right lane so that you can do a right turn at Nepliget, the intersection is by an overpass. Turn right into park at 2nd set of lights and do a U turn to cross the main road at the same set of lights. There is plenty of parking in the side streets around the hotel, which is opposite the park.
